Membership / Sign-Up Questions

Q1. I'm concerned about using my credit card on-line.. is it safe?

A1. You will notice that there is a lock icon on your browser when you are filling out the actual join form, the page where you are entering your information. If you are running Netscape, the lock is on the bottom left and it's yellow. In Internet Explorer, it's on the lower right. When you see that lock you know that anything that is passed back and forth is encrypted. This means that your computer has a secure connection to the server you are processing through. All the information is scrambled so that if anyone was trying to see what you're doing, they will only see garbage on their screen.

The company that processes transactions for this site is called "CCBill". CCBill processes for a large majority of all Internet transactions. They have extensive fraud prevention in place and are the most reliable and trustworthy company in the business.

Q2. I'm not happy with what's offered here, I'd like to cancel my membership.

A2. It's understandable that people have differences in what they like and dislike and may not be happy with their membership purchase.

If you would like to cancel your membership account, please click here to go to the sign-up / join page and click on the "cancel my membership" button of the credit card processor you used to initially sign-up with the site. (ie. CCBill)
Please!... Do not call your credit card company to request a "charge-back". If you are having difficulty cancelling your account, because you misplaced the transaction information from your initial sign-up or for some other reasons, please contact me by clicking here and I will take care of the discontinuance of your account and any related credit card charges.

By requesting a "charge-back" from your credit card company, two negative things happen:

First, with enough charge-backs, a website can be shut down due to the credit card companies refusing to process for a "high risk" website/merchant.
Second, if it is determined that a member had indeed accessed the site for a extended period of time and/or accessed numerous images, it is considered fraud and will be reported to your credit card issuer as such.

Q3. I don't want to have my credit card rebilled (also known as a recurring charge)...
      Or, I cannot afford to continue my membership.

A3. As stated above... If you would like to cancel your membership account, please click here to go to the sign-up / join page and click on the "cancel my membership" button of the credit card processor you used to initially sign-up with the site. (ie. CCBill)

Q4. Why didn't my credit card work? (Why was I declined?)

A4. There can be various reasons for this, here are a few possible reasons why:

a. Your address may not match the one on file. The easy way to solve this is to insert into the form your address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement that your credit card company sends to you every month.

b. Your card may be over limit. If this is the case, you're going to have to write a check to your bank. Call your bank and ask them if you are close to your credit limit.

c. You may have met your quota for mail orders. Your bank may have a limit on "Card Not Present" transactions. What that means is that when you mail order something, the bank knows that you didn't "swipe" your card through a machine. To reduce fraud, some banks set arbitrary limits to prevent too many Internet or catalog orders. The solution for that is quite easy - call your bank, the number is on the back of the card, and tell them that you want to order something on the Internet, you don't have to tell them what, and ask them why you can't.

d. Your card may have been used too many times today. It's up to you to call your credit card company and ask about this.

e. You may have a negative history on your card. This means that for some reason, you are on a list of prohibited customers. If you have ever claimed to your bank that strange charges appear on your credit card bill, or that you refused to pay for an item on your card, or many other abnormal communications, you may be blocked from purchasing.

Q5. I purchased a membership.... don't I have the rights to do what I like with the pictures / videos?

A5. Actually.... NO !   Buy purchasing a membership to Bootifull.com, you are given access to view and download images for you own enjoyment. Please read the Terms of Service page to learn more.

Furthermore, all images and videos on this site, either as a downloadable / viewable file or as a page layout / background image as well as text is copyrighted by this site. Q6. I hate email SPAM, are you going to share my personal information / email address?

A6. That is a big NO !

To read the privacy policy of Bootifull.com, please read the Terms of Service page.
In short.. I do not, and will not, share your email and personal information unless it is requested by the authorities for criminal / fraud investigations. Bootifull.com & Bootifull Productions is released from any liability from the use and or abuse of your personal information or email that has either been collected and shared by CCBill or that has been illegally stolen from either source.

Q7. Is it possible not to have my credit card billed as Bootifull Productions on my statement?

A7. Regulations set by Visa & Mastercard require that a merchant be identified by their business name on all transactions.
I can only assume that this is done so that the customer can understand where the charge to their card is coming from and also help reduce potential charge-backs. If you prefer not to have your card charged, to keep your membership a secret, then I would recommend membership by mail. Click here to join by mail.

Q8. I noticed that there is a 3, 6 & 12 month membership option, why would I want to spend $99 for a 12-month membership? Should I be worried about not getting my monies worth?

A8. Due in part to the limitations set by CCBill, membership charges cannot exceed $100. What these means is that the 12-month membership is the best deal in town, at $8.25 a month this is a great deal and cheaper than most other boots sites!
Also, there is currently a large cache of images (and quite a few videos) that have yet to be posted on the site so be secure in the fact that there will be much more to come in the coming months/years.

General Site Questions

Q1. I remember this site being free years ago.. what happened?

A1. Well... the cost of running a site such as Bootifull.com just doesn't come cheap.
I won't go into detail, but will summarize just some of the costs of keeping this site alive and fresh with a constant flow of images.

a. First, there's the web site hosting fees that now run into the thousands.

b. Then there is the costs of traveling, hotel rooms, car rentals, meals, etc.

c. The ever growing inventory (and cost) of thigh boots, leather and latex. Yeah, many of the women of Bootifull.com own their own thigh boots and leather / fetish wear for many of the shoots, but many of the picture sets are a collaboration between the model and I where I supply many of the boots and clothing that you see here on the site.

d. The compensation of many of the women that appear on Bootifull.com for their time and devotion in helping to bring all these wonderful images to you all.

e. Of course, we can't forget the photography equipment. When I first started the site, I purchased what I could afford, an affordable low quality digital camera. But it became apparent very soon that both the members of the site as well as I were not happy with the quality of the images. There was a few things that needed to be done to attain the quality that was desired:

   1. first was the ever evolving level of quality cameras, each purchase being a higher quality camera than the last.
   2. upgrades to better quality lighting
   3. improvement of my skills as an amateur photographer.


There are so many other boots sites out there that are free.. or that you can join for less. But my experience is that these site are actual rip-offs and only supply a limited amount of pictures that you will have already seen. Here at Bootifull, every image is either taken by myself of contributed by the model for your enjoyment. Where else can you see thousands of exclusive images of over 100 women in thigh boots?

Q2. I notice that in the member's area of the site you state which pictures are "exclusive" and which are
      "contributions"... but I've seen some of the "exclusive" pictures on other sites... what gives?

A2. Many of the women that appear on Bootifull.com have their own sites. In return for their time and effort for picture shoots, it is agreed that they will receive copies of the images for use on their own site. The term exclusive is used because the images were shot exclusively for Bootifull.com and the model's site. In turn, this means that you will never find images of women in boots "ripped", stolen, taken, etc. from another site, Yahoo group, Usenet, newsgroup, etc. here on Bootifull.com

The term "contribution" is just that.. they are pictures legally owned that are contributed for the enjoyment by the members of this site.

Q3. Are the women that appear on Bootifull professional models?

A3. Up until October of 2003 the answer is NO. Up until October of 2003, all the women that appear on Bootifull.com are women that I have met either in person or thru online sources that themselves love to wear thigh boots or have expressed interest in wearing/modeling them for Bootifull.com as well for their own personal reasons. None of them were paid money for their time.. although many have been compensated with the clothing and/or boots they modeled.

In October of 2003, I began to hire some models to accomplish certain outfit/concept photo sets that I've been wanting to do and that I have been unable, for various reasons, to do with the current "exclusive" women that appear on the site. Although these women (models) are paid, does not mean that they are not themselves boot lovers. Many of the women that have done paid shoots have contacted ME to shoot with them, expressing interest in the fashion and very well may be "closet boot fetishists". LOL    Others are actually boot loving and wearing women, that agreed to model for a fee.

Another benefit to this is that these women are exclusive to Bootifull.com/Bootifull Productions and you will only see them here!

Q4. Are there videos of women in boots in the members area?

A4. YES !    Beginning in January of 2004 updates to the site, "downloadable" videos are now available.

Note: There may be months when there will not be videos available, depending on availability at the time.

Q5. How many videos are featured in each update/month?

A5. On average, there will be two video's offered per month. This may change in time, depending on availability and production of more videos.

Q6. What format and quality are the videos?

A6. Videos are currently offered in the Windows Media or MPEG format at the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels as well as higher resolution videos set at 480 x 640 or 480 x 720 pixels. I try to produce them at the best quality as possible while trying to keep file sizes reasonable.

Note: Quality will vary per video due to the originating source. Early videos were video taped by other than me and were on "lower grade" analog video tape. All future video works will be shot on digital media.

Q7. Do you and the women of Bootifull.com accept photo shoot idea requests?

A7. Yes! But with the understanding that many requests may not be achievable.
Requests can pose as a difficult situation to fulfill. There are many things to consider when making a request.
To list a few:
   a. Does the model live within reasonable distance? (Many of the women that I have photographed live many hundreds to thousands of miles away from me.)
   b. Is the request something reasonable or acceptable by the model. (Some of the women may not be comfortable with certain requests or may not be interested in a certain concept or wearing certain apparel)
   c. If you want to see a particular Bootifull model wearing a particular pair of boots or article of clothing, please be understanding that neither I or the model in question may have that item or that we are not obligated to go out and buy it just for you.
In this case, it is suggested that you purchase the item and then send it either to her or to Bootifull Productions where we will take every effort to get the photo shoot done promptly and posted to the site as soon as possible.

I'm sure there are more, but they will be addressed here as they come to my attention.
